At Quill’s Direct Vet Care, we believe no pet parent should have to choose between their finances and their pet’s life.
Our company was born from a deeply personal experience. When our founder’s dog, Quill, faced a life-threatening emergency, what should have been a moment focused solely on care became a moment filled with fear, uncertainty, and financial stress. Despite having pet insurance, the reality was overwhelming: pay upfront, wait for treatment notes, submit claims, and then wait weeks for reimbursement , all while trying to save a beloved family member.
That experience exposed a painful truth: the veterinary system often places too much burden on pet parents during the moments they need support the most.
Quill’s Direct Vet Care was created to change that.

Our Founder
Foulishia Jean, founder of Quill’s Direct Vet Care, brings a background in healthcare, dental, and mental health , industries where access, care coordination, and patient experience are critical. Her professional journey has always centered around improving systems and making care easier to navigate.
After experiencing firsthand how difficult it was to manage emergency veterinary care for Quill, she was inspired to build a solution that would help other pet parents avoid that same fear and helplessness.
